Central Catholic and University of Cincinnati product Michael Warren II may not have been selected in the 2020 NFL draft, but it didn’t take long for him to find his first professional landing spot.
Shortly after the draft concluded Saturday, Warren announced he was signing as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles.
“It put a little chip on my shoulder,” Warren told The Blade in a phone interview. “But I still got a call.
“A lot of guys got drafted, a lot of guys got signed, but everybody has that one thing in common where you have to go out and prove yourself all over again to the veterans, to the coaches, basically to the world. So I have an opportunity to play the game of football still at the highest level. I’m blessed.”
