Saturday 8/19
Less than 12 hours after our season and home opening win we were back in action in Oak Harbor. We would ultimately loose 0-3 in a tight contest. Andrew Bishop rang one off the crossbar in the early stages of the game which could have given the Irish a huge momentum boost on tired legs. At half the game was still within reach only being 0-1 to the home Rockets. Oak Harbor would add a brace midway through the 2nd and convert on a pk to bring the final to 0-3 in their favor. The Irish and Mason Orians had another shot hit a post and yet another cleared off the line to keep the clean sheet for oak harbor. “It’s always tough to lose but the heart and guys these guys showed playing back to back like this says a lot about our team.”
We’re next in action Tuesday night (tonight) August 22 vs. Southview at Gallagher field.  Come out and cheer on the Irish!
