Central Catholic’s 1600 relay team of Simone Green, Anna Kovacs, Nakiya Taylor-McGee, and Megan Hanenkrath — a freshman, two sophomores, and a senior — finished second (3:59.04) to the Columbus School for Girls (3:54.28).

“We didn’t expect to be as good as we did,” Hanenkrath said. “We did it because we gave what we had. We worked together, we brought our times down and did it.”

Central Catholic’s 800 relay team of Marcus Easterly, Darion Greer, Deion Greer, and Arthur Greenlee finished third (1:29.68), while Easterly, Darion Greer, Deion Greer, and Kea’Shaun Phillips finished fifth in the 400 relay (43.19).

Greenlee was eighth in the 110 hurdles (15.14).
