Football

C-02Since 1920, Central Catholic High School has been one of the most successful and storied football programs in the state of Ohio. The Fighting Irish have won more than 585 games in that time and have accumulated numerous Toledo City League titles, appeared regularly in the state playoffs and have claimed four state of Ohio championships – a Poll Title in 1962, Division II Titles in 2005 and 2012, and a Division III title in 2014. The Fighting Irish were Division III State Runners-up last year, 2015.  Central Catholic competes in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC).

The Irish-Knight stays on Cherry Street for another year! #IrishKnight #GoIrish

Central Catholic beats St. Francis 50-0 at the University of Toledo Glass Bowl, making it 13 years the Irish-Knight will remain on Cherry Street.  The series is is now 29-28-1 in favor of Central Catholic in Irish-Knight games.
