It’s a 160-acre, private 18 hole, par-71 championship golf course that is a challenge to all levels of players. In addition, they have access to The Golf Performance Institute of Toledo (The Golf Pit) during the winter season, which is ranked among the top 100 driving ranges in the country. It features more than 25 newly-heated, enclosed stalls to provide protection from wind, rain and snow.

2015 Team Record
The team earned a third place finish in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) Championship in 2015. Juniors Alex Heban and Will Sattler were named second team all TRAC and Alex was the 2015 TRAC Championship Runner-up. For the second time in three years the Irish also advanced to districts in the state tournament. At the district competition, the team had a third place finish falling two strokes short of qualifying for the state championship. Over the past three seasons the Irish have won multiple invitational tournaments.

The Irish golf tradition began more than 90 years ago, with the first golf swings taking place in the 1920s and earning a Toledo Area Team Championship in 1929.

The Irish Golf Program is designed with one major belief: There is no substitute for hard work and preparation. The program prides itself on off-season training and development. We believe playing against the highest competition in the biggest events best prepares our players for college golf. With this in mind, our schedule consists of mostly 18-hole invitationals.

During the past season the varsity team finished with an above 4.0 grade point average.

In addition to the classroom, the Irish golf team takes great pride in providing service to the community, including working at the Irish Open.  In keeping with our religious beliefs, the team attends Mass together once per week during the golf season.
